Incentives

CRA Incentives

An incentive is a powerful tool to influence certain desired behaviors or actions. The CRA uses incentives to achieve a variety of objectives, such as:

· Improve the quality of life for challenged residents;
· Support the growth and success of businesses;
· Revitalize residential neighborhoods and business districts/corridors;
· Stimulate private sector capital investment;
· Retain/expand existing businesses or attract business relocation/start-ups.

At Home Dania Beach

On June 12, 2018, the CRA Board adopted the At Home Dania Beach: Residential Revitalization Program. The Program is a comprehensive and multi-dimensional approach to transforming the residential housing landscape within the Community Redevelopment Area. The Program is designed to improve the well-being of residents through aesthetic appeal, economic vitality and public safety. In addition to reducing slum and blight conditions, growing the tax base and improving neighborhood aesthetics, the Program serves to improve the overall residential housing market.
